Is cargo from China to Thailand insured? What does the insurance cover?

CIMPEX offers cargo insurance at 1% of declared value. It covers loss: if an insured item is lost in transit, we compensate 100% of its declared value. Please note what is outside the claim scope: transport damage is not covered, fragile goods (glass, stone, ceramics) cannot be insured, damage caused by the customer's own onward transport or handling after pickup is not covered, and uninsured goods are not compensated. For fragile items the practical protection is professional export packing (wooden crates), which we arrange before loading.
